The Glenville-Emmons Preschool recently had a special visitor who wanted to say thank you. Miraha Behle, a preschooler’s mother, wanted to come and say thank you to the preschoolers for sending her a care package while she was serving in Iraq. The care package was sent to her in January and included some of her favorite items, including gum, chips, Sudoku books, hard candy, wipes and other items. Behle came dressed in full uniform. She showed her identification tags, helmet, American flag, special teddy bear, lucky stone, Iraq flag, souvenirs and pictures from her time that she was stationed there. The students were able to try on a traditional head wrap and dress that the women from Iraq wear. The students looked at a slide show of pictures. Their favorite pictures were of the camels and large trucks that she had seen while she was stationed there.
