First Presbyterian Church is offering KidZone, its Wednesday after-school program for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade again this year. This is a free program that runs from 3:30 to 6 p.m and begins on Sept. 23.

The kids can be dropped off at the church after school or ride a bus from their school to the Southwest hub and get on the KidZone bus. The program is free and includes all snacks, crafts, games, fun and dinner. Kids attend from almost every church in town and some from outlying communities. Pre-registration is not required but helpful for planning. You can stop in to the church to pick up a registration form or call the church at 373-2035 for more information and ask for Dean.

First Presbyterian Church is located at 308 Water St. in the heart of the city.
