Carol Baldwin, 1942-2015

Carol J. Baldwin, 72, of Cape Fair, Missouri, was born Oct. 6, 1942, to James Arthur and Bernice Bennett Manuel and departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015.
She had been a resident of the Cape Fair area since 2003 coming from Brooklyn Park. Carol had worked for the Honeywell Company helping make black boxes for airplanes. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to laugh. Volunteering for different things was something that Carol enjoyed along with the Red Hat women.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Terry; two sisters, Charlene Gunther and Wilma Kulla; and grandson, Tyler Grant Baldwin.
Survivors include two sons, Bradley Scott Baldwin and wife, Cindy, of Randall and Rodney Gene Baldwin and wife, Darlene, of Brooklyn Park; daughter, Gale Rainstad, and husband, Bob, of Virginia; three sisters, Jeanette Davis of Cape Fair, Mary Bush and husband, Larry, of Granby, Missouri, and Lori Manuel of Cape Fair; seven grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren as well as other relative and friends.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Eagles Club in Cape Fair. Cremation was under the care of Westrip Funeral Home in Crane, Missouri. Burial will be at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
