CHASKA  — Police are searching for the gunman who shot two people in Chaska.

Authorities said a man and woman were shot at a residence on County Road 140 Thursday night. Police have warned those who live in the area to stay inside and lock their doors as they search for the suspect.

According to a press release, the police said the shooting isn’t random and that all those involved know each other. Chaska police and SWAT team members were searching in Jordan early Friday. Officials said the start of schools in Jordan will be delayed two hours as a result.

The victims were taken to Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska and transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center. Their conditions haven’t been disclosed.
