1 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Angela Hope Sanchez, 35, on three active local warrants at 10:26 a.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Burglary reported

Damage was reported to a back door at 12:16 p.m. Thursday at 1527 South Shore Drive in Albert Lea. The damage was reportedly done where someone had tried to get into the residence. It was unknown when it happened.

 

Grass fire reported

A grass fire was reported at 12:08 a.m. Thursday on the east side of Interstate 35, one mile north of the Iowa border. The fire was put out.

 

Man arrested for drug possession

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Gary Wayne Morgan, 55, for fifth-degree drug possession and driving after cancellation at 6:09 p.m. Thursday at 414 Noland Ave. in Hayward.

 

1 arrested on court warrant

Deputies arrested Jakevia Janae Bedford, 23, on a governor’s warrant at 11:29 a.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.
