FARMINGTON — Police in a Twin Cities suburb said an elderly woman is a homicide victim, and a male relative is in custody.

Officers were called to a home in Farmington shortly before midnight Thursday where the woman, believed to be in her 80s, was found dead. Police Chief Brian Lindquist said the woman died of blunt force trauma.

Lindquist said a man related to the victim was arrested at the home. Police said they are not seeking any other suspects.
