1 arrested for drug possession

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Oscar Martinez, 32, for fifth-degree drug possession at 4:01 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and East Fourth Street in Albert Lea.

 

Attempted fraud

An attempted fraud was reported at 4:08 p.m. Thursday at 1701 E. Main St.

An attempted fraud was also reported at 5:54 p.m. Thursday at 2328 Hendrickson Road. Two people reportedly posing as Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services called advising the person needed to pay $748.12 or the power would be shut off.

 

Woman scammed

A woman reported being scammed out of money at 10:42 a.m. Thursday at 22543 850th Ave., outside Albert Lea.

 

Criminal damage to property

A room was reported damaged at 2:12 a.m. Friday at 1318 E. Main St. A civil agreement was reportedly made for damage.
