I would like to commend the members of the Rotary Club for their hard work in trying to get a dog park in Albert Lea. As an avid traveler who often travels with my dog, I look for cities and towns that have public dog parks when stopping for gas or food. I then take my dog to their park so he can get plenty of exercise. The city of Albert Lea will not only benefit by having a safe place for residents to exercise their dogs but will also draw travelers which will benefit our local businesses. I support their efforts in this endeavor and hope others will also. It is a win-win for Albert Lea.
