Man took selfie with dead body

HASTINGS — A man accused of strangling his girlfriend and taking a selfie with her corpse has pleaded guilty to criminal charges in southeastern Minnesota.
Dakota County prosecutors said 29-year-old Marc Amouri Bakambia will serve a 30-year prison sentence and then face deportation to his native country of Congo. Bakambia pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Tuesday after a nine-day trial.
