A bluegrass country music acoustic jam and hoedown will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. every first Thursday of the month from October through April at Northbridge Mall. According to a press release, organizers of the free event encourage the public to bring their instruments and/or voices and join in the fun or just come to listen. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the third Thursday of the month. The next hoedown is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 7 at Northbridge Mall.
