Man backs car into house, taken to ER
A man reportedly backed a car into a house at 4:30 a.m. today at 121 S.E. Seventh St. in Glenville. The car reportedly became stuck sideways in the driveway. the driver had reportedly been up for most of the night. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for an evaluation and signed in on a doctor’s hold. The man sustained no injury and the house wasn’t severely damaged, said Freeborn County Sheriff Kurt Freitag.
Man trespassed from church
A man suspected in a previous theft of a coat was verbally trespassed from a church at 6 p.m. Wednesday at 301 W. Clark St. The man was reportedly wearing black snow pants and a blue winter jacket and was carrying coats in the parking lot.
Debit
card stolen
A debit card was reported stolen at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday at 109 Ridge Road. The card was reportedly canceled.
Burglary reported
A burglary was reported at 10618 760th Ave., outside Glenville. The burglary was discovered after a woman was reportedly told that some of her property was found on South Broadway at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday. She went home and found her door open.
2 arrested
on warrants
Albert Lea police arrested Rebecca Rose Applegate, 32, on a local warrant at 10:33 p.m. Wednesday at 1405 W. Clark St.
Police arrested Christopher Darwin Busall, 37, on a Worth County warrant for burglary at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday at 2306 E. Main St.
Grave damaged
Damage was reported to a gravesite at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Scam reported
Awoman reported being scammed out of $350 at 1:58 p.m. Wednesday at 107 First Ave. in Myrtle.
Cargo trailer missing
A cargo trailer was reported missing at 12:03 a.m. today at 80034 130th St., outside Glenville.
Fraud reported
An expired federal firearms license was reported having been used fraudulently at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at 515 Triangle Drive in Albert Lea.
Taillight damaged
Damage to a left taillight was reported at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday at 115 Lake Ave.
