The city of Albert Lea will be closing its offices 1 p.m. due to blizzard conditions, including the Albert Lea Public Library and Albert Lea City Arena, according to the city.

The transfer station and demolition landfill is closed today.

According to the National Weather Service, 7-11 inches of snow are possible today with gusts as high as 40 miles per hour.

The facilities will resume their regular schedules on Wednesday. The landfill’s next scheduled day is from 11-3 p.m. Friday.
