FOLEY — Police were called to a church in Benton County because of a man making threats.
It happened at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in Foley Sunday. Police Chief Katie McMillin said a man was making profane threats toward worshippers and was carrying a briefcase.
Church members were able to lead the man out of the church until officers arrived. Police said the man was not armed. McMillin said the man hadn’t been taking his psychiatric medication. His family was called and he was taken back home.
