Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea announces a farewell open house for its pastor, Mark Niethammer, and his family starting at 10:15 a.m. Feb 21 at the church.

Niethammer has been pastor at Salem Lutheran for five years. There will be a short program at 11 a.m. presented by the church council. All are encouraged to come and wish Niethammer and his family goodbye and warm wishes as he begins work at a new parish.

He will lead his final service at the church at 9 a.m. Feb. 21.

Salem Lutheran Church is at 115 N. Washington Ave. in Albert Lea.
