Taste of Heritage Festival scheduled

The seventh annual Taste of Heritage Festival will be from 1 to 3 p.m. April 9 at Northbridge Mall.
According to a press release the event’s sponsors invite the public to come and discover Albert Lea’s diverse heritage. There will be free live entertainment, displays of heritage, food samples and games and crafts for the kids.
Entertainment includes the Albert Lea Elementary School Singers, Rince na Chroi Irish Dancers, Tejedores Musical and the St. Theodore’s students will be singing songs of peace.

Taste of Heritage is sponsored by the city of Albert Lea’s Human Rights Commission, Riverland Community College Multicultural Services, Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau, Freeborn County Historical Museum and Village and the Roland Hanson and Kay L. Hanson Foundation.
