Catching up with last week’s papers after vacation and found the reprinted editorial on expecting violence in politics. It basically says we know that left wing liberals are going to try to keep Republicans from meeting peacefully for political discussions. They list several examples of violence by this group. The editorial then warns that Republicans have to watch what they say or they are to expect more violence by these groups and it will be the Republicans’ fault? I assume the editorial board feels that women who wear miniskirts are asking to be raped? I assume they feel the best way to handle bullies is to shut up and do what they say. Trump didn’t go out of his way to confront these people; they came uninvited to his rallies to cause trouble. While I may not agree with Trump and his handling of these bullies, I do agree with calling them thugs out to take free speech rights away from people who they don’t agree with.
