Mary J. Nelson, author, speaker, pastor of prayer and cancer survivor has a new book titled “Jehovah-Rapha: The God Who Heals,” featuring 72 comforting and encouraging meditations and compelling true stories based on healing scriptures.

Written specifically for those in need of physical or spiritual healing, this book’s purpose is to point readers to God, the ultimate healer, according to a press release.

In “Jehovah-Rapha,” Nelson shares the Word without compromise, releases hope, and focuses on the heavenly Father’s infinite love and grace. Each passionate prayer for healing that follows the meditations will help guide readers as they pray the scriptures into their personal situations. Woven throughout are compelling true stories — both biblical and modern—of God’s healing power at work, leading readers to discover that He is all they’ll ever need.

“My hope is that through this journey, readers will come to desire God more than life itself,” Nelson said in a press release.
