This summer, the office of the Albert Lea Tribune will have a new addition.
Sam Ehrhardt is a summer intern and will be a senior at Albert Lea High School this coming fall.
Ehrhardt plays tennis and soccer and is involved in several choirs and theater productions. He is also a part of National Honor Society and Link Crew — a program that helps incoming eighth-graders become accustomed to the high school.
After high school Ehrhardt hopes to attend University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to study environmental sciences.
Ehrhardt enjoys sports, music and traveling. He has plans for a camping trip in the Boundary Waters this summer, as well as the American Legion Boys State program at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
As an intern, Ehrhardt hopes to learn the news process as well as explore his interests in journalism and writing.
He will also be working at the boathouse and rock gym in Albert Lea.
