Police looking for man

Albert Lea police are looking for a man after he reportedly walked off a Sentence to Serve worksite.

Anyone with any information on the location of Sky Lamont Christensen, 27, is advised to call the Albert Lea Police Department at 507-377-5200.

Albert Lea Police Department Lt. Darren Hanson said Christensen — who was in custody at the time — apparently left while doing Sentence to Serve work at Albert Lea Salvation Army.

He is reportedly not a threat to the public.

Sentence to Serve work is reserved for nonviolent, low-risk offenders.

 

Items damaged

A car was reported egged at 9:11 a.m. Wednesday at 417 Ulstad Ave.

Sinks were reported bent at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday at Edgewater Bay Pavilion.

A front window of a backhoe was reported broken from a rock thrown at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday at East Fifth Street. Damage was estimated at $500.

 

Items stolen

A cellphone was reported stolen two weeks ago at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday at 722 Freeborn Ave.

A bike theft was reported at 6:03 p.m. Wednesday at 115 1/2 W. College St.

 

Boat fire reported

A boat was reportedly on fire at a dock at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday at 1604 Bay Oaks Drive.
