SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — A change-of-plea hearing has been scheduled next week for a Minnesota man accused of killing a woman and injuring a man in Sioux Falls.
Thirty-one-year-old Janno Talla of Worthington earlier pleaded not guilty to murder, burglary, stalking and aggravated assault in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Ammuna Gayya and the wounding of 27-year-old Denga Kotudi.
Police said the incident happened Oct. 29, 2015, in a Sioux Falls apartment. Authorities have said Talla knew the victims but they haven’t released details about the relationships.
A change-of-plea hearing has been scheduled for June 17. Further details aren’t known.
