Tom Sorenson, agency director and co-owner of Americana Insurance, announced the addition of Senior Insurance Producer Angela McCormick of Wells to the insurance team at Americana Insurance Group in Albert Lea. Along with the addition of McCormick, Sorenson is also pleased to announce a new branch location in Wells.

McCormick has many years of experience in the insurance business, as she operated her own direct writing agency in Kiester and Wells for multiple years. McCormick is licensed as a producer in the state of Minnesota and Iowa.

“We are really excited to add Angela to our insurance team,” said Sorenson. “With her experience and knowledge in the farm, personal and commercial lines of insurance she will be and already is a tremendous asset to our company.”

McCormick has raised three children: daughters Ashley, who is married and a nurse in Mason City, Iowa, and Lauren, who is a senior at Minnesota State University in Mankato and son, Logan, who is attending Hobart Welding Institute in Troy, Ohio.

McCormick is a mentor with the STARS mentoring program and serves on the Freeborn and Faribault county boards for that program. She is also a member of Good Shepherd’s Lutheran Church in Wells. In McCormick’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, running and farming.
