MBT Bank recently promoted Brad Skinness to the position of assistant vice president. In this position, Skinness will be responsible for working with commercial, consumer and residential lending in the Lake Mills market, as well as developing business in the Albert Lea and southern Minnesota region.
Skinness has worked in the banking industry for nearly 15 years, most recently with Wells Fargo and Accentra Credit Union. Brad joined MBT as a lender in 2013, and has worked to grow the bank’s footprint in Southern Minnesota.
“It has been my pleasure to work with Brad over the last two and a half years,” Community President of MBT Bank Scott Drexler said. “He has a great ability to work with customers and to develop long-term relationships — that being said, I am proud to announce his promotion. Brad’s commitment to providing his customers with the right products to help them work towards their goals is a wonderful gift. I know he will do extremely well and continue to be an exceptional resource for the bank and its customers.”
Skinness attended Austin Community College and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University. He also serves as an ambassador for the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce and as a board member for United Preschool and Albert Lea Knights Baseball. Skinness resides in Glenville with his wife, Amy, and sons Jacob and Jack.
