Constitution not in place to take away rights

The gun lobby, as libs love to call it, works for the people of this great country who believe in the Second Amendment.

What we have here is a case of the “have wants,” otherwise known as conservatives who believe that if the constitution says it is legal, then everyone has the right to have it. Notice I didn’t say everyone must have it.

On the other side of the wall are the “have not, want nots” otherwise known as liberals who believe that if they don’t want something then everyone else shouldn’t want or have it either. And they will go so far as to reinterpret longheld beliefs and constitutional rights to fit their agenda.

Hillary Clinton herself even said she would like an Australian style gun buyback program ,which was nothing more than a thinly disguised gun ban. They started with the scariest-looking guns and then went down the line from there. Sound familiar?

Or how about Dianne Feinstein who infamously said, “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them … ‘Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ’em all in,’ I would have done it.” Sounds like a gun ban to me.

Don’t let them fool you. If they are looking at changing the Second Amendment, you can bet they are looking at changing the others also.

And don’t get me started on this no fly list. If you are on the no fly list then you should be picked up by the FBI immediately. If you are innocent, then you should get cleared from the list without having to go through a long drawn-out court case.

We have a constitution for a reason, and that is to limit the government’s power, not take away the rights of our citizens.
