A power outage today in Albert Lea affected approximately 1,000 customers in northwest Albert Lea.

The outage lasted approximately a half hour before power was restored at about 3 p.m.

Power was restored after Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Service members were dispatched and worked to restore power.
