Two Lake Mills softball players received All-State recognition by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association this past week.

Senior Cede Byrnes was named to the third team and  junior Hailey Borgmeyer was named to the honorable mention team.

Brynes finished the season with a batting average of .512, scored 24 runs, drove in 23 runs, had an on-base percentage of .568 and a slugging percentage of .655.

Borgmeyer also had a stellar year, batting .410 with four home runs and scored 28 runs. She finished the season with an on-base percentage of .477 and a slugging percentage of .692
