One transported to ER after crash

One person was reportedly taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea via private vehicle after a crash was reported at 3:56 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 757th Avenue and 250th Street, outside Clarks Grove.

 

Identity theft reported

Duplicate credit cards were reported made at 1:14 p.m. Friday at 2400 Consul St. The alleged victim reportedly received charges of $147.16, $270, $275.55 and $168.69 on her account from Home Depot.

 

6 arrested
on warrants

Albert Lea police reportedly arrested Tresh Thomas Wasmoen, 46, on a local warrant at 6:43 p.m. Friday at 606 Albert Lea St.

Police reportedly arrested Steven Anthony Moreno, 26, on a local warrant at 11:15 p.m. Friday at 500 Frank Ave. Moreno was reportedly held for fifth-degree possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, providing false information to a peace officer and local warrants.

Police reportedly arrested Joseph Eugene Waltz Jr. on a Faribault County warrant at 2:35 p.m. Saturday at 204 S. Pearl St.

Police reportedly arrested Sandra Paulina Gaytan, 31, on a local warrant and for driving after revocation at 7:44 p.m. Saturday at a traffic stop at the intersection of East Sixth Street and Frank Avenue.

Police reportedly arrested Jose Alfonso Francis Avelar Jr., 34, on a Mower County warrant at 8:18 p.m. Saturday at 2305 Forest Ave. Avelar was also arrested for fifth-degree possession and fleeing on foot.

Police reportedly arrested Juan Antonio Vasquez Cruz, 27, on a local warrant at 10:01 p.m. Saturday at 713 Jefferson Ave.

 

1 arrested on drug possession

Albert Lea police reportedly arrested Jordon Allen VanRyswyk, 29, for fifth-degree possession and driving after revocation after a traffic stop at 7:51 p.m. Sunday at 117 Adams Ave.

 

2 held on violations

Cody Shawn Rhyns, 46, was reportedly held on an apprehension and detention order at 10:25 p.m. Friday at 327 W. College St.

Codie John Riedlinger, 22, was reportedly held on an apprehension and detention order at 12:22 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and East Main Street.

 

Mail theft reported

Mail was believed to be stolen from a mailbox at 5:11 p.m. Saturday at 1025 James Ave.

 

Car damaged

A brick was reported smashed through a car window at 7:54 a.m. Sunday at 905 Clausen Ave. Damage was estimated at $350 to $500.

 

Assault reported

Third-hand information of an assault was reported at 2:22 p.m. Friday in Albert Lea.
