2 arrested on warrants
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies reportedly arrested Jason Steven Allen, 34, on a local warrant at 9:11 a.m. Thursday at 86623 190th St., outside Oakland. The Department of Corrections reportedly also had a warrant on Allen.
John Kenneth Prudoehl, 64, reportedly turned himself in on a local warrant at 6:57 a.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
1 cited for assault
Albert Lea police cited Edwin Kendale Nyman Jr., 19, for fifth-degree assault at 8:31 a.m. Thursday at 404 Fountain St. Nyman was cited after one female and two males were reported fighting, with one male bleeding from the head. An apprehension and detention order was signed on Nyman.
Local church broken into
First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea was reported broken into at 9:17 a.m. Thursday. The church’s basement window was reportedly busted and the change machine was taken. Loss was estimated at $700.
Items stolen
A cellphone was reported missing at 12:24 p.m. Thursday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. A suspect was identified.
