MINNEAPOLIS — A judge in Minnesota has given the administrator of Prince’s estate approval to sell some properties belonging to the late recording artist.

Prince’s home and recording complex, Paisley Park, is not on the list of properties Bremer Trust is seeking to liquidate.

Most of the properties, including homes, vacant lots and buildings, are in Prince’s hometown of Chanhassen. They include a commercial building estimated to be worth $22 million and a 156-acre piece of land on the shores of Lakes Ann and Lucy valued at nearly $14 million.

Carver County Judge Kevin Eide Thursday gave the trust permission to list six properties for sale this month.

According to a press release Eide said estate administrators must submit another affidavit before listing the remaining eight parcels.

Prince died in April at age 57 of a drug overdose.
