Beth Goskesen and Kendall Christensen, both of Albert Lea, were married May 6, 2016, at Bridge Community Church in Albert Lea. The Revs. Clayton Balsley and Mark Miller officiated.
The maid of honor was Briana Goskesen, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alison Sabinish, Emily Beaver and Angie Mullenbach, all friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Peytyn Johnson, niece of the bride. Flower girl was Joan Skov, grandma of the bride.
The best man was Corey Bakken, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Derek Jacobs, friend of the groom; Keith Christensen, brother of the groom; and Logan Goskesen, brother of the bride. The junior groomsman was Spencer Christensen, nephew of the groom. The ring bearer was Wayne Skov, grandpa of the bride.
Usher and usherette were Derek Christensen and Kendra Krowiorz, siblings of the groom. The host couples were John and Rhonda DeVries, aunt and uncle and godparents of the bride; Dean and Kay Werner, aunt and uncle of the groom; and Larry and JoAnn Amundson, aunt and uncle of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Dayle and Renae Goskesen of Austin and the granddaughter of Wayne and Joan Skov of Lyle, Quentin and Bernice Goskesen of Austin and Bonnie and the late Dale Wiste of Mapleview.
She is a 2004 graduate of Austin High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and English from Lutheran College in 2008, and her master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010. She is the area manager of Mower and Freeborn Counties for Workforce Development Inc.
The groom is the son of Jane (Craig) Bowman and Kevin Christensen, both of Albert Lea, and the grandson of the late Charles and the late Cora Carpenter and the late John and Barbara Christensen.
He is a 2003 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He is a city carrier assistant for the United States Post Office.
