Car rolls in ditch in southern Albert Lea

A Wells man was injured Monday night in a rollover crash in Albert Lea.

Jeremy M. Catalano, 22, was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Catalano was driving a 2000 Buick Regal north on U.S. Highway 65 and was traveling too fast to navigate a curve in the road, causing the Buick to lose control, enter a ditch and roll at 10:21 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 65 and Interstate 35.

Catalano was wearing his seatbelt, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the report states.

The Albert Lea Police Department and Albert Lea Fire Department assisted.
