The Civil War Roundtable commences again after its brief summer hiatus.
Jim Munyer, the moderator of all the sessions, will present “the evolution of West Virginia’s statehood” as that state was created during the early years of our Civil War, having been a significant portion of the state of Virginia until it seceded from Virginia.
The session will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 in the media center of Southwest Middle School.
According to a press release, Munyer will invite questions and comments following what will be another of his flawless presentations.
This event is free to the public.
