Donna Neeley of Albert Lea, died at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s campus in Rochester on June 15, 2016, at the age of 58. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sept. 10, 1957, to Rea and Edward Jerome Sanderson.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be very missed by her daughter, Jena Niemeier; three granddaughters, Greta Niemeier, Jacey Niemeier and Emmy Wangsness; and six siblings, Darlene Clawson, Yancey Lee Dion, Robert Dion, Don Dion, Heather Dion and Dolf Dion, all of the Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas areas. Donna was separated from her husband, John C. Neeley, of Texas for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Sanderson; and her brother, Allen Dion.

Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother,  affectionately called “NaNa.”

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Church, 408 E. 18th St. (off Margaretha) in Albert Lea. Sweets will be served following the service.
