Hollandale woman injured in crash with cow

A woman was injured after her truck rear-ended another truck that struck a cow on Highway 56 on Monday night.
Lawrence Fraley, 46, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was driving southbound when his 2005 Dodge Dakota struck a cow around 10:48 p.m. Monday. Kimberly Jorgenson, 48, of Hollandale was also driving southbound in a 2001 Dodge Ram and said she didn’t see the Dakota until the last minute, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Jorgenson was treated at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin for non life-threatening injuries.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Adams Fire Department and EMS assisted on the scene.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
