Woman crashes into property
A vehicle reportedly struck a deck post at 11:01 a.m. Monday at 627 Meadow Lane.
According to the Albert Lea Police Department, Faith Lenore Ryan, 71, of Albert Lea, was driving a 2004 Cadillac east on Campus Lane, when she failed to maneuver a right-hand turn onto Trollwood Drive. Ryan reportedly continued to travel east through a dead end on an unmarked pathway. She continued into a residential area, veering northeast for about 200 yards.
The vehicle reportedly nearly struck a residence and made a hard right-hand turn to maneuver around the home, before striking a large deck post and residential retaining wall, coming to a rest partially on top of a riding lawn mower.
Ryan was not injured in the crash.
3 arrested on warrants
Police arrested David James Hockinson, 30, on a local warrant at 9:31 a.m. Friday at 411 S. Broadway Ave.
Police arrested Dwight Devine Harper II, 35, and Tonisha Reeves, 37, on Mower County warrants after an unknown emergency was reported at 1:43 a.m. Sunday at 928 W. Front St.
2 cited for theft
Police cited one person for theft after a theft was reported at 2:36 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The items stolen were valued at $234.
Police cited Haley Jade Dorman, 23, for theft at 5:31 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
1 cited for violations
Police cited Jennifer Marie Klassen, 31, for obstruction and disorderly conduct after an assault was reported at 9:43 p.m. Sunday at 1034 Dunham St.
Office broken into
An office was reported broken into at 10:19 a.m. Saturday at 133 W. William St.
Sexual assault reported
A sexual assault was reported at 9:07 p.m. Saturday in Albert Lea.
Items stolen
A gun was reported stolen from a vehicle at 1:39 a.m. today at 318 Meredith Road.
Money was reported missing out of a purse at 7:01 a.m. Sunday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.
Clothes were reported stolen out of a shared washer at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at 527 Triangle Drive.
Tools and electrical equipment were reported taken at 1:46 p.m. Monday at 28048 North Island Circle in Hollandale.
Theft by fraud reported
Theft by fraud was reported at 5:06 p.m. Sunday at 1215 Foothills Circle.
