The NRHEG volleyball team started out its season winning three of its first five matches.
Prior to Monday night, the Panthers had lost four matches in a row.
Monday may have been just what they needed to get their season on the right track again.
NRHEG swept Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, 3-0.
“The girls played really well,” said Panthers coach Onika Peterson. “We talked before the match that we needed to have confidence coming into the match, getting in the right mindset to win. The girls were aggressive at the net, which was great to see and our defense hustled.”
Olivia Christopherson led the Panthers with 13 kills. She also added eight digs.
NRHEG will play Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Sept. 29.
