All lanes of Main Street in Albert Lea are open near Fountain Lake, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Westbound lanes opened today. Eastbound lanes opened Tuesday after being closed for flooding from Fountain Lake because of heavy rains last month.

Traffic was detoured during the closure.

Hwy. 65 was the final state highway in southeast Minnesota to open after the flooding from

heavy rains that occurred Sept. 21 to Sept. 22.
