Bennett depicts honesty, integrity

Peggy Bennett has earned our confidence and respect to serve as our state representative in District 27A.
She worked diligently to stop fraud and waste in the MNsure program of over $1 billion!
Peggy is on the winning team that:
• Froze tuition at Minnesota state colleges and universities.
• Increased senior care funding by $138 million.
• Eliminated tax on veteran’s pensions.
• Voted for $600 million in new education funding.
• Fully believes in prioritized spending.
Peggy voted no on the Southwest Light Rail, which is being defined as the Boondoggle Line. She believes in no more spending good money after a bad idea. The 14.5-mile line is not needed. The 20- to 30-year university predictions are highly skewed and unreliable. The SWLT line is a fiasco. Fifty percent of the operating and maintenance losses must be subsidized from the state budget. This is OPM — other people’s money — which is our tax money. Peggy believes the Boondoggle Line must die since we are already heavily subsidizing the other light rail lines. Each rider would be subsidized over 70 cents for every dollar of ticket costs.
Minnesota ranks in the top 10 percent of highest-taxed states in the United States business and retirees are rapidly leaving Minnesota. Peggy Bennett believes these two items are very important and need to be curtailed.
Let’s fully support Peggy Bennett, a candidate who depicts honesty and integrity and believes political power should never become more important than the people!
