Fall clean-up day planned

The city of Albert Lea is sponsoring its Home Town Pride Fall Clean Up Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
As part of Home Town Pride Fall Clean Up Day, the city will allow residents with proof of city residency to deposit one load of the following: brush and yard waste, household garbage and demolition debris for free.
According to a press release, appliances/sofa/mattress for $10 each; and furniture pieces for $5; passenger tires for $3. Other items including rims and e-waste will be accepted at the regular rates.
