Duplicate Bridge Club

Duplicate Bridge Club was played at seven tables on Oct. 18 at the Senior Center in Austin. Winners were Gene Muchow and Ron Peters, first place; Lorraine Quinlivan and Barb Rofshus, second place; John Liesen and Rick Stroup, third place; Bud Higgins and Vandy Newman and Joyce Crowe and Millie Siever, tie for fourth place; and Lorraine Lippert and Russ Valle, sixth place.

Duplicate Bridge was also played at five tables on Oct. 19 at the Senior Center in Austin. Winners were

Loren Cleland and Bud Higgins, first place; Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz, second place; Joyce Crowe and Millie Siever, third place; Vandy Newman and Ron Peters, fourth place; and Dave Ring and Orrin Roisen, fifth place.

Players come from Adams, Albert Lea, Austin, Mason City, Northwood and Rose Creek each week to play Duplicate Bridge at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and noon on Wednesdays at the Senior Center. The group invites all bridge players to bring a partner and join in the competition.
