Help with Operation Christmas Child

- Albert Lea Daybreakers Kiwanis club donated 25 boxes to the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box program again this year. Last year the Daybreakers club won the travel trophy for the highest donation between all area service clubs. In 2015 the Samaritan Purse organization collected 11.2 million boxes from 11 counties for children in need around the world, according to a press release. Collection week for the Freeborn County area is through Monday. If interested in participating in the project, contact Rose Olson at 507-402-5067. - Provided
