The country most revered as a bastion of liberty and freedom for scores of decades in a few hours and a few subsequent days since is now the most reviled and feared nation ever in the course of all recorded history; it is now greatly feared by a majority of its own citizens as well as foreigners. Hundreds of thousands of Americans gave their lives to try to rid our nations of the scourge of fascism from 75 to 70 years ago.
