Albert Lea police arrested Jacob Robert Kaput, 30, of Rochester for first-degree driving while intoxicated, violating his B card and fifth-degree marijuana possession during a traffic stop at 7:13 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue.

A theft was reported at 5:24 p.m. Thursday at 122 E. Main St. A suspect was identified as taking more than $2,000 out of a political party’s account over a course of time.

A muffler was reported stolen at 11:55 p.m. Thursday, near the intersection of South Washington Avenue and West William Street.
