The adult choir of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells will present “Morning Star.”

Light is a prominent theme throughout scripture. As Isaiah said, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” This message, though, is not limited to a chosen nation of people, it is not a members-only event for first century persons.  It is for everyone that the message of Christ, the light of lights, needs to be heard.  Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” This is the promise of Christmas!

The cantata will be presented during the worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday.  The public is invited to attend this presentation.  It is the church’s hope this musical offering helps fill people’s Christmas with the joy of the season and the love of Christ.
