Vikings snap 3-game skid

The Northwood-Kensett girls’ basketball team got 20 points from senior Terran Haberman and the Vikings snapped a three-game losing streak with a 46-32 win Tuesday night over Rockford.
Northwood-Kensett’s defense held Rockford under 10 points in three of the four quarters as the Vikings built an 11-point halftime lead.
Calli Christansen filled the box score with seven points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Northwood-Kensett is now 3-4 on the season.
It will travel to Mason City to play Newman Catholic on Friday.
