Funeral services for Tommy Lee Brewer will be at  11 a.m. Wednesday at The Vineyard Church in Albert Lea. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Tommy died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a 15-month battle with jejunal, or small bowel, cancer.

Tommy was born Jan. 8, 1981, in Alvin, Texas. He was the youngest son of Debra Gardner and Jo Brewer Jr. Tommy was 35.

Tommy attended school in Independence, Iowa, and graduated in 1999. After completing high school he moved to Albert Lea.

Tommy married Brittany Simpson on June 24, 2016.

Tommy loved spending time with his family — especially his niece and nephews. Tommy was a wonderful uncle and his family was his greatest joy in life. Tommy was a wonderful cook and loved making meals for his family and friends. He also loved music and outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing.

He is survived by  his loving wife, Brittany; mother, Debra; stepfather, Everette; father, Joe; brothers Doyle (Amber) and Joe (Nickie); neice, Jasmine; nephews Caleb and James; aunt, Shirley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tommy was proceded in death by his grandfather, Delbert Hunt; grandmother, Judy Hunt; and good friend, Josh Baldwin.

Tommy was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.
