The Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team trailed Windom by seven points at halftime Thursday night.

The Knights made a comeback in the second half, but Erika Bute’s stat line — 26 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals — still wouldn’t be enough as they fell, 52-51.

Abbie Theusch scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Kelsey Newman finished with eight points in the loss.
