Erika Bute scored 26 points and had four steals as she led the Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team to a 54-45 win Friday night over Cleveland.

The Knights trailed by two points at halftime, but came out charging in the second half.

Alden-Conger scored 29 points and held Cleveland to 18 points to pull away.

Abbie Theusch scored 18 points and had five steals for the Knights, who are now 8-5 and have won three of their past four games.

Alden-Conger faced Blooming Prairie on Saturday.
