No team has been able to trip up the NRHEG boys’ basketball team yet.
Thirteen games have turned into thirteen wins, and the Panthers made it 14 with 55-45 victory over St. Peter.
Oakley Baker scored 19 points and grabbed eight boards. Benji Lundberg scored 11 and Brady Agrimson had 10 points.
NRHEG went on an 8-0 run in the first half to expand its lead to 26-16, as St. Peter didn’t score for the remaining seven minutes of the first half.
“That was a good stretch of defense we played to not let (St. Peter) score,” NRHEG coach Pat Churchill said.
NRHEG built a 17-point lead in the second half, but St. Peter closed the gap a few times, only to see the lead grow back.
Tyler Raimann scored eight points and had 13 rebounds for NRHEG.
NRHEG is now 14-0 on the season and will host Bethlehem Academy tonight.
