Stoneking gives recital

Andrew Stoneking, a Luther College student from Albert Lea, performed a baritone recital April 26 in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Music Hall on the campus of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
Stoneking, the son of Steve and Julie Stoneking of Albert Lea, is majoring in music at Luther. He is a 2005 graduate of Albert Lea High School.
Stoneking performed works by Bach, Copland, Poulenc, Puccini and Schubert.
Stoneking is a student of Tana Field, Luther alumni guest lecturer in music. He was accompanied by Luther senior Matthew Meyers.
Luther is home to one of the largest collegiate music programs in the nation with seven choirs, three orchestras, three bands, two jazz bands and nearly 1,000 student musicians.
