4 score in double-digits, Knights win

Wrapping up its third game of the week, the Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team wanted to end the game on a high note Friday night against Nicollet.
The Knights got well-rounded performances from several players in a 62-54 win to move to 10-9 on the season.
Erika Bute led four players who scored in double figures with 16 points. She also added seven rebounds and seven assists.
Kelsey Newman had 14 points and six rebounds, Abbie Theusch had 12 points and seven rebounds, and Mikenna Erickson scored 10 points and nabbed five rebounds for the Knights, who have steadied the ship after losing three straight games.
Alden-Conger finished the week going 2-1.
It will host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on Monday.
